Annual Day Celebrations

Kisumu Junior Academy joyfully held its Annual Day Celebration on 4th December 2025 in the school’s Main Hall. The event brought together learners, parents, guardians and teachers for a memorable morning filled with colour, talent and celebration.

The programme began promptly at 8:40 a.m. with a smart and well-coordinated Scouts Parade, setting a disciplined and patriotic tone for the day. This was followed by the uplifting singing of the Kenyan National Anthem and the East African Anthem, uniting the audience in spirit.

A moment of reverence followed as students led the gathering in prayers, inviting blessings for the celebration. Immediately after, the Senior Principal delivered a warm welcoming address, appreciating the support of parents, the hard work of teachers, and the remarkable progress shown by learners throughout the year.

The ceremony continued with lively performances across different classes, showcasing skills in music, dance, Christmas chorals, instrumentals and choir. Learners displayed confidence, creativity, and teamwork, earning loud applause from the audience.

Awards and Recognitions

Outstanding learners were honoured with medals and certificates for their excellence, discipline, improvement, and talent. Teachers took to the stage together with selected Parents to present awards, celebrating the achievements of each child with pride and encouragement.
